Implement Strandvejen

a welcoming transformation

Implement Consulting Group’s reception area on Strandvejen has undergone a purposeful redesign, shaped through a close collaboration between CCO and Ultima K. Rooted in user needs and architectural sensitivity, the process spanned from moodboards and spatial planning to lighting, acoustics, and custom furniture. The result is a thoughtfully curated 500-square-meter space that reflects Implement’s identity. Designed to function as a hybrid environment for reception, café, ad-hoc work, and informal meetings, the space balances modern functionality with deep respect for the building’s historical character. It creates a calm, refined atmosphere that invites both consultants and clients to pause, connect, and engage.

A modern expression rooted in history

The interior design embraces a modern workplace while harmonizing with the building’s heritage. Rounded forms and carefully considered details echo existing architectural lines and ornamentation, ensuring the design feels both fresh and grounded. A curated palette of deep, soft hues contrasts beautifully with the building’s hard, patterned surfaces—creating zones of warmth and intimacy within the open volume.

The space is a part of the reception area, but it also serves as a break-out zone for both employees and visitors, by offering room for quiet calls, deep focus, and casual conversation. Zones are subtly defined throughout the space, offering a flexible layout that adapts to varying needs across the day.

Reimagining the existing

Sustainability is integrated through long-lasting design choices and a conscious reuse of resources. Approximately 75 percent of the existing furniture has been reupholstered and reintegrated, extending its life with minimal environmental impact. Quality materials and tailored solutions ensure the space is built to endure—functionally and aesthetically—for years to come.
